
Robert W. Monster co-founded and leads Identity.net. In addition, he leads Monster Venture Partners (MVP), an early-stage venture capital firm based in Seattle. Previously, Mr. Monster was the Founder of GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), a leading provider of technology-enabled services to the global market research industry. During his tenure as Chairman and CEO, GMI achieved annual revenue growth of 100+% per year and served customers in more than 60 countries.
Prior GMI, Mr. Monster was a global product development manager with Procter & Gamble, leading the development and commercialization of a series of successful new product initiatives throughout Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.
Fluent in English, Dutch, and German, Mr. Monster holds a BS and an MBA, both from Cornell University. A winner of the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Technology and Software (Pacific Northwest), Rob also serves on the boards of GMI, Healthcare.com, Demoxi, Inc., Clickable.com, WiFi.com, Treedia Labs, and Alerts.com.

Tom Simpson has over 22 years of experience as a venture capitalist and investment banker. Prior to forming NWVA, he was a Managing Director in Dain Bosworth's Seattle-based investment banking group and managed public offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions for multiple companies in the region. Tom serves on the Board of the Technology Alliance of Washington and the Advisory Board for the University of Washington Business School. Tom has a BS in business administration from the University of Washington and an MBA from The Wharton School.
